@evrfighter for comparison reasons. The video output is @30fps, and if they were both shown at their native speeds, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in framerate
@reddeaddestroyer
people always say "driving experience" vs. "racing experience" could you describe to me the difference?
Polyphony digital released the sales figures

Well, that's because we're playing GT. We already have the better experience
"I thought Fortza was the definitive racer that all should be held up to"
You thought wrong.
sigh... it's sad to see to see a company that made a game which became infamously synonymous with high-end PC gaming turn their heads the other way on the sequel. It seems us PC gamers will have to look forward to titles like BF3 and Diablo 3 for getting the most out of their systems.
sometimes engines are optimized well enough to render two instances in a game. Killzone 3 did it, and there's very little loss in quality, albeit in draw distance. maybe uncharted 3 can do it as well.
It's not the sales that matter, its the level of quality that's put into GT5 that people talk about
If the T500 makes you feel like you're cheating, then that wheel gives you an unfair advantage. Racing isn't and shouldn't be that easy to perform.
I'll agree, that on paper, the T500 is technically the best wheel you can buy. Excellent FFB, mostly metal construction, great ergonomics, fully functional with GT5. However, the same reasons everyone's talking about is why it doesn't come close to justifying its price:
1) ONLY supports GT5 at this ...
bro the price has been dropped since like last year. I got mine for $200 last april. But just a warning, GT5 doesn't fully support this wheel, at this time.
we've seen quite a bit of this game man. We've had a multiplayer beta and demo, not to mention the entire beta version was leaked online since last month. Sure, none of those are "final" versions, but we have a pretty good idea of how the game will look, play, and for some, already know the entire story of the campaign.
@ shadyDevil there's no mention because the Ps3 already has 32 players.
They're never gonna finish this game its been so long :(
If it were DLC, it'd probably come with a few more cars that were just announced. Kinda like how they did the Lotus Evora/Ferrari California/Citroen GT in GT5P.
if you got the limited edition of T6, it says in the booklet she was missing. Harada confirmed the same thing too a while back
with what's on the market today, you won't need to spend stupid amounts of money to build a superior gaming rig. Look up the parts that fit your criteria, then wait for the big deals.
Indeed, myself and the other GT academy drivers would say otherwise as well. Heck, I even turn off TC and stability systems when I drive on the road. All that electronic crap; I've learned it just gives a false sense of security.
I personally never cared for the ratings; every GT game has and will be criticized in some way for not having the same mass-market appeal other racing games does.
That being said, GT does for ME what no other racer on consoles can, and that's provide a legitimate driving simulation experience. And hey I'm not the only one apparently... 6 million+ other people already bought this game, despite it having "poor" ratings.
@The_Ultimate_Guy
yes, because MS only managed to sell 8 million 360's from 2005 to 2007.
Check you figures...mate.
it was, in comparison to the first
